Privacy and data
Screen-time records, limits, parental PIN, and progress stay on this device. Tortoise Time has no accounts, no ads, no advertising ID, and no cross-device sync. To fix crashes and improve reliability, the app sends limited crash diagnostics and a small number of usage events to Google Firebase. These include a pseudonymous random installation ID, not names, location, contacts, advertising ID, PIN, monitored-app lists, or what a child watched.
